The Year of the Horse

The Chinese New Year of 2014 marked the arrival of the Year of the Horse for our Japanese restaurant in Seattle. The Horse is said to embody traits of strength, energy, and independence, appropriately making it the cowboy of the Chinese zodiac. People born under this sign also struggle with being self-centered, having difficulty when they cannot get their way.

In their professional lives, Horses do best in jobs where they can be around people and draw attention to themselves. They are attracted to positions that let them indulge their independence and act as their own bosses. If you are a Horse, seek out a career as an athlete, a salesman, a journalist, an actor, or an educator.

When it comes to romantic relationships, Horses are characteristic of passion and impulsive behavior. As such, they can frequently have trouble settling down. Fortunately, Horses are known to mellow out as they grow older.
